In the 5th minute Jimeno Garaile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Celino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Tabb having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Lagartija FC's zone, Jimeno Garaile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Tabb came out of the goal and Jimeno Garaile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Garaile in the 16th minute of the match. Anselmo Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Celino, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Celino in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Tabb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Jimeno Garaile ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Tabb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Lagartija FC booed when Burruyaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Maura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagartija FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Tabb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Jimeno Garaile made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Tabb. Lagartija FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Burruyaco's Alfonso Celino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Tabb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jimeno Garaile came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Burruyaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Garaile couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Tabb having to interfere. Anselmo Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Garaile, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jimeno Garaile struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Anselmo Tabb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burruyaco. In the 42nd minute, Jimeno Garaile got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Celino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Anselmo Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernabe Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Rene Cuartio made the kick off in the second half. If Jimeno Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Lagartija FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Tabb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Celino. Alfonso Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Tabb having to interfere. Lagartija FC's Anselmo Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Garaile in the 82nd minute of play. Jimeno Garaile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Tabb having to interfere. Anselmo Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Garaile in the 86th minute of play. Alfonso Celino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Anselmo Tabb when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Burruyaco's Jimeno Garaile slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anselmo Tabb. That made the score 0-6 after 89 minutes of play. The supporters of Lagartija FC booed when Burruyaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Feo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
