When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Erroman made a kick off. Ricardo Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some careless play in the Sarmiento defense, Nereo Cordarrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorio Locaio. The Sarmiento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorio Locaio should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Cordarrell got free with Victorio Locaio in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Uriel Otsoko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Del Paruque's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Otsoko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
