In the 18th minute, Bernabe Abecia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Sacachispa F.C booed when Los del Pike F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Abecia in the 53rd minute of play. Sacachispa F.C's Osvaldo Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Balasi in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Cipriano Balasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los del Pike F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Balasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pablo Benvido came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Sacachispa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Benvido couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Anacleto Columbo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victor Enekoitz. The goal made the score 0-1. After a rather tough play, Los del Pike F.C's Anacleto Emmanuel got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Pablo Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Los del Pike F.C got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Harriet. Anacleto Columbo scored 0-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Enekoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cipriano Balasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Vedillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The Sacachispa F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
