The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Illart during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Torres getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Generoso Illart hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Panfilo got free with Agustin Mateus in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Hernando FC booed when Torres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Crispo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Araoz's late challenge caught a Hernando FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantino Aureo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hernando FC's Geronimo Indalecio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Enrique Gervaso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Torres's Generoso Illart got a free kick in the 61st minute. Constantino Aureo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrique Gervaso came out and tried to block the shot, but Constantino Aureo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 63rd minute. After 71 minutes, Santiago Perico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torres and the Hernando FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Torres! In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Hernando FC. Geronimo Indalecio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enrique Gervaso. 0-2. Torres's Enrique Gervaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Torres from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes Hernando FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Bilintx. After some careless play in the Hernando FC defense, Justino Viviano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Mateus. The Hernando FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Mateus should have stopped the shot. Constantino Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prudencio Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Geronimo Indalecio, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Constantino Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Gervaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Alvarez in the 92nd minute. Placido Alvarezs short, quick shot in the 99thth minute got Enrique Gervaso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hernando FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
