Enzo Gitano's late challenge caught a Chañares FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Gitano helped the player get up and apologised. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 4th minute, where Chañares FC:s Elpidio Karmel tricked Maxthlal:s Victorio Bingen with a difficult ball by the left post. Lorenzo Sabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Lorenzo Sabino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Cordarell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Maxthlal's Osvaldo Venerando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Cordarell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Angelo Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Sabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Aquiles Salamon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Victorio Bingen made a huge save. Anselmo Cordearo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Enzo Gitano, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Sabino was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Osvaldo Venerando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maxthlal's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Venerando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorenzo Sabino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Maxthlal booed when Chañares FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Lorenzo Sabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maxthlal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Sabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Lorenzo Sabino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chañares FC's Angelo Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Sabino in the 73rd minute of play. Osvaldo Venerando succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 75th playminute. In the 80th minute of the match, Lorenzo Sabino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angelo Cordarell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The goalkeeper, Angelo Cordarell, was totally fooled by Maxthlal's Enzo Gitano, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Angelo Cordarell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Chañares FC's Angelo Cordarell got control of the ball when Osvaldo Venerando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maxthlal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
