When Gregorio Dayam came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the EL CHAVO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Dayam couldn't finish the play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Springfield F.C. reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaudencio Kepa in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Bastia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Cordarius succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. A collision led to Springfield F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gaudencio Kepa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Bastia having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in EL CHAVO's zone, Jorge Sindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Bastia came out of the goal and Jorge Sindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Springfield F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of EL CHAVO for a fine match.
