The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Hugo Chaime mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chueco F.C. and the Crespo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Chueco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Chaime. If Delmar Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Chueco F.C.'s Delmar Leocadio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Domeka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Delmar Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Delmar Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Domeka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Chueco F.C.'s Cayetano Santos in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Francisco Hanni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Frederik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Cayetano Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Andres Domeka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Jaen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jairo Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crespo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Frederik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Chueco F.C.'s zone, Francisco Hanni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Frederik came out of the goal and Francisco Hanni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Delmar Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Santos got free with Andres Domeka in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesus Frederik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Hanni in the 77th minute of the match. Francisco Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Frederik having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Jaen in the 85th minute of play forced Chueco F.C.'s goalkeeper Jesus Frederik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Frederik having to interfere. In the 90th minute Jairo Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
