Astor Ledesma's late challenge caught a El Raton Juan Carlos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Ledesma helped the player get up and apologised. Astor Ledesma hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Maloyas's Alejandro Txilar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Maloyas from getting a goal against them. Romulo Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Eguntsenti having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, El Raton Juan Carlos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Ondino to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Oliverio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Alejandro Txilar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Braulio Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alejandro Txilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Vidal struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Virgilio Eguntsenti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maloyas. 25 minutes into the match, Maloyas's goalkeeper Alejandro Txilar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Oliverio. Braulio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Atarrabi struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Virgilio Eguntsenti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maloyas. Virgilio Eguntsenti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Maloyas's zone, Alejo Oliverio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Txilar came out of the goal and Alejo Oliverio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Alejo Oliverio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Braulio Montez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejandro Txilar. That made the score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Atarrabi made a kick off. Alejandro Txilar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Oliverio went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Mariano Vidal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of El Raton Juan Carlos's Virgilio Eguntsenti. Virgilio Eguntsenti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Markel hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Mariano Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maloyas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romulo Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Eguntsenti having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Santiago Ondino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Raton Juan Carlos and the Maloyas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alejandro Txilar came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by El Raton Juan Carlos's Alejo Oliverio. But to his dismay, Alejo Oliverio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Mariano Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Virgilio Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, El Raton Juan Carlos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Txilar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Oliverio went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Raton Juan Carlos had won after a very even match.
