Aquiles Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Rodolfo Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Jon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aquiles Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Evelio Amato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capayán FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Amato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Capayán FC's Jose Escobar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ensuciantes. The supporters of Capayán FC booed when Ensuciantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Astrada took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Rios. Aquiles Rios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 37 minutes into the game, Ensuciantes's Jairo Jon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Rios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 42nd minute, Benito Jerico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Capayán FC's Aquiles Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Jon in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Urbano Serapio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ensuciantes's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Serapio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Rios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute Rodolfo Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Capayán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Jon came free, but Aquiles Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Jon in the 56th minute of play forced Capayán FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Capayán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Serapio came free, but Aquiles Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
