The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Carrisito AFC booed when Apuyaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Kismi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Apuyaco's goalkeeper Pablo Rami had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Orzaize. Julian Orzaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Noe kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Florentino Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Noe in the 11th minute of play. Vicente Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Vermudo having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Carrisito AFC's Anibal Llorienzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Rami made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tadeo Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Rami having to interfere. Carrisito AFC's Florentino Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Kismi in the 27th minute of play. Julian Orzaize could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Pablo Rami made a huge save. In the 34th minute Vicente Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Noe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carrisito AFC's zone, Santo Noe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Vermudo came out of the goal and Santo Noe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 51st minute, Santo Noe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Julian Orzaize recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Vermudo having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Carrisito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Tauro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Apuyaco's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Orzaize came free, but Pablo Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Apuyaco's Florentino Vermudo threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teo Kismi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Teo Kismi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Apuyaco's Cristian Gartzen got a free kick in the 80th minute. Teo Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
