Leitium FC's Rafael Bartoleme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Cedro in the 32nd minute of play. Racing Club's Victorino Atarrabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Goito in the 35th minute of play. Raul Weterio might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Atarrabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Leitium FC booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Gaitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Candido Fanuco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Atarrabi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Florentino Goito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Atarrabi. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Atarrabi should have stopped the shot. Raul Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Atarrabi having to interfere. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 95 minutes into the match, Leitium FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Ioritz came free, but Rafael Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
