Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ladislao Silban got the match started through his kick off. Filomeno Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chinguillo's Lucio Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Torres in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Transito during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Gaudencio Transito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 14 minutes, Domingo Cilio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinguillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Cilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Chinguillo booed when Roosevelt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Silban struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Leopoldo Piearres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinguillo. In the 21st minute, one of Roosevelt FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Roosevelt FC. The supporters of Chinguillo booed when Roosevelt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Gaitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Afonso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leopoldo Piearres. Roosevelt FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Filomeno Martino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chinguillo's Lucio Senio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leopoldo Piearres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Silban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Lino Efren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Torres was the one to do the kick off. Leopoldo Piearres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Efren in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Roosevelt FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bernabe Gaitano hit a great ball. If Filomeno Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Roosevelt FC's Artemio Torres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucio Senio. Lucio Senio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Filomeno Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roosevelt FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Senio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Lino Efren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Piearres having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ladislao Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinguillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Silban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Piearres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Roosevelt FC's zone, Ladislao Silban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Piearres came out of the goal and Ladislao Silban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Primeiro's late challenge caught a Chinguillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Primeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Roosevelt FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Primeiro. Ladislao Silban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Piearres having to make a save. A collision led to Roosevelt FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bernabe Gaitano hit a great ball. Filomeno Martinos short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Lucio Senio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
