The referee gave Viamonte FC a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosme Valente, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dellas sporting club's Julio Panfilo. 0-2. Emilio Venceslas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Panfilo having to interfere. Robustiano Brais charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Brais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Viamonte FC's Edelmiro Christobal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Brais in the 62nd minute of play. If Tobias Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Reynaldo Kusko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Panfilo. The goal made the score 0-4. 83 minutes into the game, Nemesio Omero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dellas sporting club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viamonte FC the free kick. The supporters of Viamonte FC booed when Dellas sporting club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Venceslas came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Panfilo could save by the left post. Julio Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Kusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Viamonte FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
