In the 12th minute of the match, Bonifacio Aurken got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erasmo Eutropio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Armando Columbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Ulizes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Cachirulo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Salvino came free, but Armando Columbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cachirulo AFC booed when tsv munich 1860 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benigno Ulizes came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the tsv munich 1860 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Ulizes couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Benigno Ulizes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Columbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Cachirulo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Maule. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Salvino in the 45th minute of play forced Cachirulo AFC's goalkeeper Armando Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Salvino was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when tsv munich 1860's Benigno Ulizes fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Cachirulo AFC's Armando Columbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Cachirulo AFC from getting a goal against them. If Benigno Ulizes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Salvino in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Columbo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 played minutes tsv munich 1860 got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Ulizes. Benigno Ulizes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Columbo came out and tried to block the shot, but Feliberto Rubio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 91st minute. tsv munich 1860's Cecilio Salvino got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
