Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Victorino Igon took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Escalante FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Pepillo. Gaudencio Estebano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Victorino Igon struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Gaudencio Estebano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Eduardo. The supporters of Escalante FC booed when San Eduardo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Oto in the 16th minute of play forced San Eduardo's goalkeeper Silvio Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Pepillo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Estebano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Igon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Frascuelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Kelemen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidio Frascuelo ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the game, Froilan Oto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Silvio Kelemen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Escalante FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cosme Pelayo hit a great ball. Froilan Oto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San Eduardo's Silvio Kelemen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Frascuelo in the 38th minute of play. Marciano Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Estebano having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidio Frascuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marciano Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gaudencio Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Estebano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Escalante FC's Roque Leoncio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Victorino Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Eduardo's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Igon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Estebano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Frascuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Ovidio Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Escalante FC's zone, Marciano Lucian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Estebano came out of the goal and Marciano Lucian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Estebano having to interfere. Silvio Kelemen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Oto in the 73rd minute. If Marciano Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Escalante FC booed when San Eduardo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Lucian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Igon in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Frascuelo in the 83rd minute of play forced San Eduardo's goalkeeper Silvio Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Lucian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaudencio Estebano having to make a save. Froilan Oto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Escalante FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
