ARSENAL D. T.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Guillerme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Muc got free with Candido Santiago in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 minutes, Francisco Distiratsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almona AFC and the ARSENAL D. T. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Aznaro in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Candido Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Guillerme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
