After a defensive mix-up in Ostende AFC's zone, Diego Ladio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Jaen came out of the goal and Diego Ladio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ostende AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Eliseo Laffitte hit a great ball. Juan Rivero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Rogelio Gaufred came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Ostende AFC's Raimundo Cidro. But to his dismay, Raimundo Cidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Juan Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Jaen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Ugutz's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When Diego Ladio came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Zoso.F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Ladio couldn't finish the play. Lucas Ugutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eduardo Jaen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ostende AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
