Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tomás Gonzalez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Gilberto Lope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albano Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Cordareo in the 7th minute of play. Florencio Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Fidensio having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Atlético Simbolar got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Ibar. Atlético Simbolar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Florencio Cordareo scored to the left of an out of position Albano Fidensio, making the score, 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Florencio Cordareo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albano Fidensio. Florencio Cordareo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 22 minutes, Albino Atarrabi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Simbolar and the Progreso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Atlético Simbolar got a freekick which was hit by Albino Atarrabi. Gavino Orlondon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Albano Fidensio made a huge save. Americo Iliana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Robustiano Lastur charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Lastur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Progreso booed when Atlético Simbolar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Cordareo in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Gilberto Lope had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albano Fidensio. Atlético Simbolar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Lope was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Atlético Simbolar booed when Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Atlético Simbolar were awarded a corner. Maximino Tajo went to the cornerflag to take it. Cirilo Gaxan thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Americo Iliana, a very annoying self made goal in the 46th minute which led to 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Florencio Cordareo made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Teodosio Arnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Gonzalez in the 66th minute of play forced Progreso's goalkeeper Americo Iliana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Arnas during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Progreso getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Teodosio Arnas hit a great ball. Maximino Tajo shot from long distance in the 69th minute, but Americo Iliana was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With an all-out effort, Atlético Simbolar's Americo Iliana threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomás Gonzalez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Gonzalez in the 73rd minute of play forced Progreso's goalkeeper Americo Iliana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Cordareo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Fidensio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Albano Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Cordareo in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Atlético Simbolar defense, Florencio Cordareo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Fidensio. The Atlético Simbolar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Fidensio should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Atlético Simbolar's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Cordareo came free, but Albano Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Fidensio having to interfere. Gilberto Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético Simbolar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Progreso.
