Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Echegoyen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Handi. In the 4th minute of the match Ubaldo Jaunzuria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Cordarrel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Damian Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cristobal Celipe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Echegoyen AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Celipe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Sesuldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes Echegoyen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Domingues. Arnaldo Cordarrel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ubaldo Jaunzuria. After having played for 30 minutes, Damian Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galle F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Ibar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Damian Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Saul Flor sped through Echegoyen AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnaldo Cordarrel. Damian Ibar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo Cordarrel came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Ibar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Matia to make the kick off. When Damian Ibar came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Galle F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Ibar couldn't finish the play. If Damian Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Andres Atarratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Sesuldo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Guido Loramendi. Erubiel Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Matia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to Echegoyen AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Guillermo Ladio hit a great ball. If Saul Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Echegoyen AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Flor came free, but Arnaldo Cordarrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Matia in the 79th minute of play. If Damian Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Echegoyen AFC's Cristobal Celipe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Sesuldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnaldo Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Flor in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Matia in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erubiel Sesuldo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Cristobal Celipe sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galle F.C. had played much better football throughout.
