The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Haroldo Vistruario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Galeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Froila in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los churros's Aaron Maidana got a free kick in the 7th minute. Virgilio Galeno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Vistruario in the 11th minute. Cristo Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ernesto Froila in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Galeno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elias Romelio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Carolo Uxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th match minute, Los churros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Uxio to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Vistruario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Galeno having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, Los churros's goalkeeper Virgilio Galeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Froila. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Madeo in the 36th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Eleuterio Luar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los churros's Virgilio Galeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Los churros from getting a goal against them. Virgilio Galeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Los churros's zone, Ernesto Froila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Galeno came out of the goal and Ernesto Froila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Haroldo Vistruario made the kick off in the second half. Cristo Madeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Racing Club's Haroldo Vistruario got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgilio Galeno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Froila went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Ernesto Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Luar made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cristo Madeo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Timoteo Banegas hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Elias Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Luar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Virgilio Galeno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Vistruario went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ernesto Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Virgilio Galeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los churros players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Racing Club.
