In the 6th minute, Marcelo Ireno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pedorria F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute Victor Manex shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo James in the 15th minute of play forced Mamaguita's goalkeeper Santo Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Colas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo James, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Marcelo Ireno came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Pedorria F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Ireno couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Mamaguita's zone, Hugo James stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Colas came out of the goal and Hugo James tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Ireno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Santo Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Hugo James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Colas having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Marcelo Ireno lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Santo Colas. Marcelo Ireno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Colas having to make a save. Mamaguita's Santo Colas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Ireno in the 65th minute of play. Pedorria F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
