Justo Maraman hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Salvador Ikatz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Madrid F.C.'s Tomas Mikelar didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Remir in the 11th minute of play forced Real Madrid F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomas Mikelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Peña Sport Club's Gualterio Sadurni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Mikelar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Santos Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes Peña Sport Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaston Barrionuevo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gaston Barrionuevo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peña Sport Club's Ivan Soter did a great save. Tomas Mikelar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Remir in the 28th minute of play. Jonathan Florin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Soter having to interfere. Jonathan Florin in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivan Soter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 42nd match minute, Peña Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Maria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Peña Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Maria came free, but Ivan Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Florin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Jonathan Florin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peña Sport Club's Jonatan Chus got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Peña Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Florin came free, but Ivan Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Real Madrid F.C.'s Gaston Barrionuevo to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivan Soter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peña Sport Club's goalkeeper Ivan Soter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Gualterio Sadurni came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Peña Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Sadurni couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Peña Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Florin came free, but Ivan Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Santos Maria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Madrid F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, Real Madrid F.C.'s Tomas Mikelar got control of the ball when Gualterio Sadurni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
