The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Efren got free with Celedonio Olentzaro in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dionisio Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Olentzaro having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Chañarito's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Nikola came free, but Fernan Gitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Fliz made a kick off. If Genaro Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Fliz in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Olentzaro saved Ikki Fenix from getting behind. Celedonio Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Fliz in the 65th minute of the match. Celedonio Olentzaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genaro Efren's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Ikki Fenix's Esteban Bieito got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fernan Gitano. Dionisio Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Olentzaro having to interfere. Fernan Gitano made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Benito Nikola sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Dionisio Fliz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Celedonio Olentzaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Nikola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Fernan Gitano made a huge save. Celedonio Olentzaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Efren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Benito Nikola fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fernan Gitano, passed just outside the right post. Celedonio Olentzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Efren, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Benito Nikola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
