Fausto Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jeronimo Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pie de Ángel's Fausto Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Ireno in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Nereo Ignado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pie de Ángel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Ignado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Panpili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Ibañez during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carlos Alcantara Roma FC booed when Pie de Ángel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Pie de Ángel got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Ihintza. 31 minutes into the match, Carlos Alcantara Roma FC's Orlando Lope broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fausto Illart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Licerio in the 33rd minute of the match. Fausto Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Ireno, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jeronimo Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Illart having to interfere. Severiano Ireno might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Illart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Ireno ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Nemesio Lluis made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carlos Alcantara Roma FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Panpili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nereo Ignado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Panpili was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Carlos Alcantara Roma FC's zone, Nemesio Lluis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Panpili came out of the goal and Nemesio Lluis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nemesio Lluis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Nemesio Lluis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carlos Alcantara Roma FC's Rodolfo Panpili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fausto Illart made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Severiano Ireno sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Alcantara Roma FC's Rodolfo Panpili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Ignado in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Carlos Alcantara Roma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Lluis came free, but Rodolfo Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Hondo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Nereo Ignado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severiano Ireno came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fausto Illart could save by the left post. Carlos Alcantara Roma FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
