Ferré's Cosme Ubarna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Santiago in the 6th minute of play. Ferré's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Sergi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Maidana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferré's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Santiago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Urbano Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Maidana having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Jonathan Sergi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Vincent in the 37th minute of play forced Chorrillos AFC's goalkeeper Marco Maidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferré's Cosme Ubarna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Silvanito in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Silvanito in the 44th minute of play forced Ferré's goalkeeper Cosme Ubarna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Justino Silvanito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Ubarna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Ferré players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chorrillos AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Santiago was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chorrillos AFC's zone, Jonathan Sergi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Maidana came out of the goal and Jonathan Sergi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Justino Silvanito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Ubarna.
