Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luis Tomi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alberto Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Teo Bide was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Prudencio Monte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prudencio Monte really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Luis Tomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Limón's Conrado Ranolfo suffered a sprained foot after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Casimiro Bras's late challenge caught a Limón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Bras helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Olympiqus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Bras to maneuver through the defense. Luis Tomi might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Satordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Tomi ran back to his position shaking his head. Casimiro Bras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Satordi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Luis Tomi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiqus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Tomi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Galeno might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teo Bide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Galeno ran back to his position shaking his head. Eriberto Abaurre's late challenge caught a Olympiqus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Abaurre helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 minutes, Hernan Beila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limón and the Olympiqus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Casimiro Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Satordi having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Limón's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Tomi came free, but Gustavo Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Galeno was the one to do the kick off. Hernan Beila hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Fabian Galeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gustavo Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Limón's Gustavo Satordi got control of the ball when Casimiro Bras tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Limón's goalkeeper Gustavo Satordi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rafael Lia came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Olympiqus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Lia couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Satordi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Casimiro Bras sent off a good shot on target. Olympiqus's attack was well implemented in the 73rd minute, but when Casimiro Bras was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Limón's Alberto Macerio got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Lia during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Rafael Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luis Tomi came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Olympiqus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Tomi couldn't finish the play. When Urbano Gentza fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limón's protests and gave Urbano Gentza a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Limón! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olympiqus walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
