The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Parish's Edelmiro Umbruso in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Everardo Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jeremias Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Majaditas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Frutos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Vela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Claudio Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Frutos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Everardo Vela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Frutos struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Everardo Vela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Majaditas AFC. Parish's Everardo Vela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Parish from getting a goal against them. Everardo Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Munio having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edelmiro Umbruso to strike the kick off in the second half. Iker Munio made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Tomás Atarrabi sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Tomás Atarrabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Marciano Acuña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Majaditas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parish the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Majaditas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Acuña to maneuver through the defense. Iker Munio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roque Aurre. If Tomás Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomás Atarrabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Iker Munio made a huge save. If Tomás Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Frutos in the 79th minute of play forced Parish's goalkeeper Everardo Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Jeremias Frutos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Majaditas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Everardo Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Majaditas AFC's Jeremias Frutos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everardo Vela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Parish's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
