Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Placido Iturri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 8 minutes, Placido Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newells FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Iturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SouthWolf's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Placido Iturri 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 19 minutes of play, Newells FC's Baldomero Otoniel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Hever was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reynaldo Serapio charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Serapio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of SouthWolf:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Newells FC:s goal. If Flavio Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 52nd minute, Baldomero Otoniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Chuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabricio Txordon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th play minute Jeronimo Osoro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabricio Txordon. 3-1. Fabricio Txordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Osoro in the 61st minute of play. If Placido Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeremias Lluciano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Baldomero Otoniel scored 4-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Hever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gualterio Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baldomero Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Newells FC's Gualterio Gorbea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efrain Hever narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the SouthWolf players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Newells FC.
