Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Efrain Mendiko kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Placido Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arauco FC's zone, Placido Bela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Cruz came out of the goal and Placido Bela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Salvador Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot. RacingClubArg's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Odon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Efrain Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Eleazar kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Arauco FC's Teobaldo Miro tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Etxepare in the 21st minute of play forced RacingClubArg's goalkeeper Martin Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Placido Bela fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Martin Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Siro Peru had to leave the field with a concussion. 29 minutes into the game, Venancio Serafo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arauco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RacingClubArg the free kick. RacingClubArg's Martin Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Mendiko in the 32nd minute of play. Igor Baleren kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Gonzales during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Amador Gonzales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute Arauco FC were awarded a corner. Teobaldo Miro went to the cornerflag to take it. Teobaldo Miro made a great header on Arauco FC's corner, it was just that RacingClubArg's Martin Vedillo managed to reach the ball for a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Odon to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to RacingClubArg getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Salvador Odon ran back to his position shaking his head. If Placido Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Arauco FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Venancio Serafo hit a great ball. The Arauco FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
