Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leandro Pereyra made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Tomás Carlomagno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Bixintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Freyre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Medero to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Leones's Tomás Carlomagno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Bixintxo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Carlomagno in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaias Bixintxo saved Freyre FC from getting behind. Isaias Bixintxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Carlomagno went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tomás Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Bixintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Pereyra in the 17th minute of play. Leandro Pereyra scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Bixintxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaias Bixintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Pereyra in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Leones's Leandro Pereyra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaias Bixintxo came out of the goal and Leandro Pereyra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Leones were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Medero to make the kick off. With a little luck, Freyre FC's Isaias Bixintxo got control of the ball when Tomás Carlomagno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Freyre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Pereyra came free, but Isaias Bixintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Pereyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Isaias Bixintxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Freyre FC's Isaias Bixintxo got control of the ball when Tomás Carlomagno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Medero's late challenge caught a Leones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Medero helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Freyre FC's Julio Medero got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Cipriano Ranolfo made a great header on Leones's corner, it was just that Freyre FC's Isaias Bixintxo managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Pereyra in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaias Bixintxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute of the match, Leandro Pereyra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isaias Bixintxo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Pereyra in the 84th minute of play forced Freyre FC's goalkeeper Isaias Bixintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Freyre FC booed when Leones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Leones could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Freyre FC throughout the match.
