An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Havier in the 32nd minute of play forced Salmón FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Bieito came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by peti f.c.'s Aureliano Jerico. But to his dismay, Aureliano Jerico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Salmón FC booed when peti f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Amato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Ilazki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isaac Rosalio. peti f.c.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Desiderio Bieito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldo Havier went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Victoriano Cai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Rosalio having to make a save.
