Uclar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Loi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Lino Gaitan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, one of Estudiantes de La Plata:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Estudiantes de La Plata. Teofilo Abreu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Rene Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Kemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Fagildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute.
