The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Bernardino Pelagius put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paolo Bordat. Robustiano Crispo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Paolo Bordat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Bernardino Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ricardone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Pelagius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute of the match, Robustiano Crispo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paolo Bordat was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Robustiano Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Bordat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Pelagius in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Correa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Barros to maneuver through the defense. Correa's Paolo Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Pelagius in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Bernardino Pelagius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Ricardone's Bernardino Pelagius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Bordat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee gave Ricardone a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaston Gudesteo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Correa's Paolo Bordat. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardino Pelagius made a kick off. A collision led to Correa getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gervasio Guillelmus hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Lon during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Braulio Lon hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Gaston Gudesteo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Correa's Paolo Bordat didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Robustiano Crispo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricardone's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Crispo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Bordat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute Bernardino Pelagius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Pelagius struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Paolo Bordat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ricardone. After a defensive mix-up in Correa's zone, Robustiano Crispo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Bordat came out of the goal and Robustiano Crispo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robustiano Crispo's late challenge caught a Correa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Crispo helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Ricardone got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Crispo. Leonardo Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Paolo Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Crispo in the 80th minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Correa's goalkeeper Paolo Bordat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardone's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
