If Timoteo Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Sansone didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Leon Pietro's late challenge caught a López FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience held their breath when Jeremias Gaspard in the 34th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Joel Mikelar's left hand side. The López FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cornelio Joey struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Joel Mikelar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdés. Valdés's Edgard Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Norino in the 97th minute of play. López FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Valdés for a fine match.
