Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bruno Emeterio started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Lucio Oinaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferro Carril Este's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Oinaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Cordeal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ferro Carril Este booed when Smith was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Orlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Goizeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ferro Carril Este's zone, Bruno Emeterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Donzel came out of the goal and Bruno Emeterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Bruno Emeterio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laureano Donzel, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Sixto Goizeder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferro Carril Este fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bruno Emeterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferro Carril Este's Laureano Donzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ferro Carril Este from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Bruno Emeterio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Laureano Donzel, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Emeterio in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Donzel saved Ferro Carril Este from getting behind. Eustacio Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bruno Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Donzel having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Eustacio Sazon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laureano Donzel. Eustacio Sazon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. If Ladislao Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Goizeder made a kick off. Sixto Goizeder struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mario Cordeal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferro Carril Este. In the 55th minute, Dionisio Orlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Smith's Ladislao Gaxan got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Sazon in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Smith getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ladislao Gaxan hit a great ball. Mario Cordeal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Americo Hunfredo in the 73rd minute. Mario Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Goizeder in the 76th minute of play. Bruno Emeterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gaxan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Smith booed when Ferro Carril Este was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Sazon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Laureano Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Donzel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Emeterio's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gaxan in the 85th minute of play forced Ferro Carril Este's goalkeeper Laureano Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Sixto Goizeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Smith were furious when Jonathan Gartxot was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Smith:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ferro Carril Este:s goal. Smith:s Mario Cordeal showed great skill when he stopped Anier Azubeli:s penalty. In the 94th minute, Ferro Carril Este's Sixto Goizeder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Mario Cordeal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Americo Hunfredo in the 99th minute. The Ferro Carril Este players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Smith from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
