The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Lico during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paso un segundito al Baño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo El Morro the free kick. In the 19th minute, Feliberto Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cecilio Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Sayvion ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the game, Nemesio Xabat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicolas Mero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo El Morro's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Refugio came free, but Delmar Nikola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Paso un segundito al Baño's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Sayvion came free, but Nicolas Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paso un segundito al Baño's zone, Cecilio Sayvion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Mero came out of the goal and Cecilio Sayvion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nemesio Xabat charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Xabat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Deportivo El Morro getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nemesio Xabat hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cecilio Sayvion sped through Paso un segundito al Baño's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolas Mero.

When Cecilio Sayvion came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Club Deportivo El Morro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Sayvion couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Paso un segundito al Baño's goalkeeper Nicolas Mero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Sayvion. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Cecilio Sayvion got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rolando Haitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nicolas Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Club Deportivo El Morro's Cecilio Sayvion dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Cecilio Sayvion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cecilio Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cecilio Sayvion's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Nicolas Mero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cecilio Sayvion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Mero having to interfere. Cecilio Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cecilio Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
