Guaberto Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Vistruario in the 8th minute of play. Mateo Reynardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Guaberto Socorro made a huge save. Rogelio Geofredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Bertol having to make a save. Guido Bertol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Ciro Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mollaco AFC's Guaberto Socorro threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Vistruario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th minute, Ciro Francesco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Juan Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Torres struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Guido Bertol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella Federal. 36 minutes into the match, Mollaco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Francesco came free, but Guido Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Laurgain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Bertol having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Mollaco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Torres came free, but Guido Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Laurgain, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ciro Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Torres made a kick off. After 71 minutes, Blas Txurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mollaco AFC and the Estrella Federal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Mollaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Txurio. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mollaco AFC's goalkeeper Guido Bertol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guaberto Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Bastia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes of play, Mollaco AFC's Mateo Reynardo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guaberto Socorro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cecilio Laurgain came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Estrella Federal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Laurgain couldn't finish the play. Guido Bertol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Francesco in the 83rd minute. Juan Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Guido Bertol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Mollaco AFC's goalkeeper Guido Bertol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Francesco. After 91 minutes, Cecilio Laurgain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrella Federal and the Mollaco AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Estrella Federal got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Laurgain. When Honorio Elodio fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mollaco AFC's protests and gave Honorio Elodio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Honorio Elodio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute of the match Estrella Federal got a corner. Mollaco AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan Torres ran over to the corner to take the kick. Many of Estrella Federal's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Estrella Federal may have spent more time on the ball, but Mollaco AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
