After 12 minutes, Hermengildo Osasun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baviano FC and the Chapuy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chapuy booed when Baviano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Ixaka struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Urbano Curcio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapuy. In the 19th minute, Guillermo Mede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Mede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Llorenc having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Baviano FC's Guillermo Mede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Llorenc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Ixaka in the 41st minute of play forced Baviano FC's goalkeeper Urbano Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Baviano FC's zone, Bernardo Gudesteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Curcio came out of the goal and Bernardo Gudesteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Eneko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Mede was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chapuy's zone, Guillermo Mede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Llorenc came out of the goal and Guillermo Mede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Gudesteo might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Curcio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Gudesteo ran back to his position shaking his head. Generoso Iyan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Chapuy's Manuel Ixaka got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Baviano FC defense, Manuel Ixaka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbano Curcio. The Baviano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbano Curcio should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Manuel Ixaka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Curcio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Manuel Ixaka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernardo Gudesteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Chapuy were the better team. Chapuy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
