Ovidio Obano, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Ganimedes F.C.'s Aquilino Sancho got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ganimedes F.C.:s Aureliano Aires showed great skill when he stopped Ovidio Obano:s penalty. 10 minutes into the game, Ovidio Obano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aureliano Aires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobias Rufio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Aureliano Aires managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when General Zapiola's Tobias Rufio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Ganimedes F.C.'s zone, Basilio Urre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Aires came out of the goal and Basilio Urre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramon Igon's late challenge caught a Ganimedes F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Igon helped the player get up and apologised. Ramon Igon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Ganimedes F.C.'s Americo Gutxi in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye General Zapiola's goalie prevented a goal. Aureliano Aires didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. General Zapiola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Eufemio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Eufemio made a kick off. Aureliano Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Tobias Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Aires having to interfere. Americo Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Salvadore having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Ganimedes F.C.'s Norberto Salvadore threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felix Eufemio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Rufio in the 65th minute of play forced Ganimedes F.C.'s goalkeeper Aureliano Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, General Zapiola's goalkeeper Norberto Salvadore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Gutxi. Basilio Urre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Aires having to interfere. With a little luck, General Zapiola's Norberto Salvadore got control of the ball when Americo Gutxi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Rufio scored 4-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Aires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basilio Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in General Zapiola's zone, Felix Eufemio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Salvadore came out of the goal and Felix Eufemio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Norberto Salvadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. General Zapiola had won after a very even match.
