Chucuma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Toribio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Celestino Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Riestra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Toribio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chucuma's zone, Celestino Toribio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Quexal came out of the goal and Celestino Toribio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Quexal having to interfere. If Celestino Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Chuan in the 35th minute of play forced Chucuma's goalkeeper Benicio Quexal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celestino Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jonathan Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Lia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Montae in the 50th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jonathan Montae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Israel Lia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Israel Lia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Cibran in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Jonathan Montae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Israel Lia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Jonathan Montae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Lia having to interfere. When Nicanor Stanislao fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chucuma's protests and gave Nicanor Stanislao a yellow card for diving instead. Nicanor Stanislao hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Celestino Toribio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Quexal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes Chucuma's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luciano Taurino who took care of the corner kick. Luciano Taurino made a great header on Club Deportivo Riestra's corner, it was just that Chucuma's Benicio Quexal managed to reach the ball for a save. Ivan Birila's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Riestra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Birila helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chucuma's Ivan Birila got a free kick in the 76th minute. Club Deportivo Riestra's Luciano Taurino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chucuma. Mario Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Quexal having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Chucuma got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Gumaro. If Celestino Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Lia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Cibran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chucuma's Eugenio Cibran got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 99 minutes, Nicolas Romo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Riestra and the Chucuma players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Deportivo Riestra getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Nicolas Romo hit a great ball.
