Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Efrain Rodriguez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Dalmacio Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Fix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Ricart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roque Hitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Hitz in the 10th minute of the match. Efrain Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Delmiro Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Dalmacio Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kenny's Saul Estevon got a free kick in the 16th minute. Dalmacio Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Kenny's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Fix came free, but Hector Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's Roque Hitz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Kenny defense, Dalmacio Fix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Ricart. The Kenny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Ricart should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Venerando during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kenny's Efrain Rodriguez got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmacio Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hector Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Ricart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Hitz in the 47th minute of play. After the first half SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Hitz made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's zone, Efrain Rodriguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Frechoso came out of the goal and Efrain Rodriguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Venerando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Ricart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Hitz's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Delmiro Frechoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Calisto in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Venerando to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Delmiro Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Aureo charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Aureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florencio Aureo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Kenny were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nereo Mateo took the corner. The corner led to Kenny's Carmelo Santikurtz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Delmiro Frechoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Rodriguez in the 87th minute of play. The match ended with a win for SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN.
