Silverio Jusepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Toscas FC. Efrain Rutenio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Jusepe having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Matorrales FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Harriet. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Matorrales FC! Silverio Jusepe went to the wrong direction when Florentino Beturian was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Efrain Rutenio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Jusepe having to interfere. A hard shot 30 in the game by Hernan Blanco from a close distance when the talented Silverio Jusepe managed to make a qualified save. Matorrales FC's players were relieved. Mariano Weather charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Weather the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Matorrales FC booed when Las Toscas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Florinio took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Indalecio. Virgilio Indalecio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Las Toscas FC's Virgilio Indalecio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Hegoi in the 42nd minute of play. Silverio Jusepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Rutenio in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Gabriel Florinio made the kick off in the second half. If Hernan Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Jusepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Rutenio in the 55th minute of play. If Florentino Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Indalecio came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Matorrales FC's Florentino Pacho. But to his dismay, Florentino Pacho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 66th match minute, Matorrales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Florentino Beturian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silverio Jusepe skillfully saved the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Erasmo Hegoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matorrales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Toscas FC the free kick. Erasmo Hegoi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Virgilio Indalecio came out of the goal and Florentino Pacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Florentino Pacho made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Indalecio. Las Toscas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Las Toscas FC's Urbano Regis got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Florentino Pacho came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Matorrales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Pacho couldn't finish the play. If Gabriel Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Matorrales FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Matorrales FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
