Alonzo Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Te cabe el Salchichon FC booed when Matorrales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Llorienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Saturnino Llin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Te cabe el Salchichon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matorrales FC the free kick. In the 13th minute, Saturnino Llin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Santiago Irrintzi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Matorrales FC's Silverio Jusepe. Silverio Jusepe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Erasmo Hegoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Alonzo Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Te cabe el Salchichon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Silban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Jusepe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th match minute, Te cabe el Salchichon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Naelio to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Santo Llorienzo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Higinio Peru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Te cabe el Salchichon FC's zone, Florentino Pacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Peru came out of the goal and Florentino Pacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Santiago Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Florinio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Matorrales FC's goalkeeper Silverio Jusepe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Matorrales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Cefero to maneuver through the defense. If Gabriel Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florentino Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Peru having to interfere. Horacio Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Santiago Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Jusepe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Silban in the 71st minute of play forced Matorrales FC's goalkeeper Silverio Jusepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Alonzo Silban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matorrales FC's Florentino Pacho got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Matorrales FC's Gabriel Florinio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Peru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Higinio Peru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Florinio in the 86th minute of the match. Higinio Peru came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Matorrales FC's Gabriel Florinio. But to his dismay, Gabriel Florinio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gabriel Florinio spun around in front of the goal 92 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Te cabe el Salchichon FC's goal.
