If Dalmacio Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Saladillo FC booed when Xeneizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Jacindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes's Omar Fidensio got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Alfredo Che got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Leopoldo Urti fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladillo FC's protests and gave Leopoldo Urti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Saladillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Urti to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Arsenio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xeneizes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Eustacio Serapio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eugenio Etxepare fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladillo FC's protests and gave Eugenio Etxepare a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eugenio Etxepare hit a great ball. Uriel Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Che in the 20th minute of play. Dalmacio Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arsenio Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Arsenio Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Arsenio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xeneizes's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Chabier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saladillo FC's Uriel Chabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Che in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Arsenio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xeneizes's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Chabier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmacio Tipi was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Xeneizes's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Urti came free, but Hector Urdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Uriel Chabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Jeraldo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Eustacio Ler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hector Urdin. Xeneizes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hector Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Tipi in the 62nd minute of play. Arsenio Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Uriel Chabier made a huge save. Arsenio Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uriel Chabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Che in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Saladillo FC's Eugenio Etxepare got a free kick in the 84th minute. Uriel Chabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Che, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
