When Blas Perpinya came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Curupayti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Perpinya couldn't finish the play. In the 25th match minute, Bob Marley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Theodore to maneuver through the defense. Guido Danel made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Blas Perpinya sent off a good shot on target. Gonzalo Garoa charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Garoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nereo Bikendi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Jeronimo Maldonado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bob Marley FC and the Curupayti AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Jeronimo Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Bikendi in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Blas Perpinya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Danel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Tiso took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Dodorol. Omar Dodorol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Curupayti AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Nereo Bikendi hit a great ball. Paulino Urti in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Omar Dodorol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 71 minutes into the match, Curupayti AFC's goalkeeper Omar Dodorol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Urti. Romulo Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Bikendi in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Danel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blas Perpinya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Danel having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Bikendi in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Danel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bob Marley FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
