Teobaldo Milio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Genaro Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Jordy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Americo Blasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Desiderio Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Desiderio Mingo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Americo Blasco. boca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Mingo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Apolo Beliran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Genaro Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Beliran in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Transito saved FERRO FC from getting behind. Desiderio Mingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Blasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Jordy in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FERRO FC's zone, Teobaldo Milio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Transito came out of the goal and Teobaldo Milio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Desiderio Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Americo Blasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Herminio Jordy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half FERRO FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Jordy to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Teobaldo Milio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The boca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 73rd minute, Teofilo Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Galtero kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Herminio Jordy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Herminio Jordy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Americo Blasco. The goal made the score 1-2. Genaro Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Milio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Blasco came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by FERRO FC's Desiderio Mingo. But to his dismay, Desiderio Mingo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 97 minutes into the game, boca's Teobaldo Milio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Transito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. FERRO FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
