After having played for 16 minutes, Gogo Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Niupi F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Niupi F.C.'s Ramon Manuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save El Niupi F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Unzué's Cristian Estefan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mario Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Kiliz having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Alfredo Claus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unzué's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Niupi F.C. the free kick. The supporters of El Niupi F.C. booed when Unzué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 54 minutes, Cristian Estefan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unzué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Estefan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Generoso Demesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ramon Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Estefan in the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Unzué defense, Joaquin Lehior kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Kiliz. The Unzué fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Kiliz should have stopped the shot. Gogo Polentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Unzué's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Soin came free, but Humberto Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Jurdan hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Gogo Polentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Humberto Kiliz made a huge save. After having played for 82 minutes, Mario Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Niupi F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mario Soin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Kiliz came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Soin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 85th minute. Generoso Demesio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Manuelo having to make a save. Generoso Demesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ramon Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Gogo Polentzi could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Humberto Kiliz however easily saved by the left post. El Niupi F.C. played a much better game than Unzué and deserved their victory. The Unzué players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
