Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Clementi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Baldomero Edwardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernan Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Gartzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Julian Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Edwardo in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Baldomero Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espora's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Edwardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Vermudo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Sedeni's late challenge caught a Espora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Sedeni helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Espora booed when Maguire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Sedeni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Edwardo scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernan Vermudo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maguire's Fernan Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Gartzea in the 29th minute of play. Fernan Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Gartzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Espora's Joel Gurutz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Julian Gartzea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Vermudo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Gartzea made a kick off. After having played for 61 minutes, Baldomero Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Edwardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Espora's zone, Mario Sedeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Hug came out of the goal and Mario Sedeni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Maguire's goalkeeper Fernan Vermudo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Gartzea. Maguire's Fernan Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Gartzea in the 78th minute of play. Julian Gartzea struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fernan Vermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espora. Fernan Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Gartzea in the 84th minute of the match. Simon Hug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Clementi in the 91st minute of the match. Mario Sedeni struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Simon Hug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maguire.
