Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Celso Sindo made the kick off which started today's match. Fausto Orlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Fernandez in the 3rd minute. Azul Athletic Club's Dionisio Quintan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Maore in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, El Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Sindo came free, but Fausto Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Celso Sindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Venceslas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Anier Primeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Cuco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azul Athletic Club the free kick. The supporters of Azul Athletic Club booed when El Cuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Primeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Fernandez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fausto Orlan firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Azul Athletic Club's zone, Ceferino Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Quintan came out of the goal and Ceferino Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Pes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of El Cuco booed when Azul Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Santo Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Orlan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celso Sindo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Celso Sindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Orlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Sindo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th play minute Ubaldo Fernandez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fausto Orlan. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santo Maore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ubaldo Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Azul Athletic Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Fernandez couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Orlan having to interfere. If Ubaldo Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Sindo scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Orlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rigoberto Bermudo in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dionisio Quintan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ubaldo Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Fausto Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azul Athletic Club. Azul Athletic Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
