Colon ES Santa Fe's Ambrosio Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Orlan in the 13th minute of play. La Humildad's Abel Justin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Ler in the 15th minute of play. Abel Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Arsenio Petri kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Matthew during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

56 minutes into the match, Colon ES Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Orlan came free, but Ambrosio Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anier Guillen fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Humildad's protests and gave Anier Guillen a yellow card for diving instead. Anier Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Lucas Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Hibai having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Colon ES Santa Fe's Raimundo Matthew seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raimundo Matthew the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Colon ES Santa Fe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raimundo Matthew had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colon ES Santa Fe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Ambrosio Hibai went to the wrong direction when Enzo Milian was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Colon ES Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Rufo came free, but Ambrosio Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Emiliano Orlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Rufo in the 93rd minute of play forced Colon ES Santa Fe's goalkeeper Ambrosio Hibai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Colon ES Santa Fe's zone, Emiliano Orlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Hibai came out of the goal and Emiliano Orlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Salvadore during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 99 played minutes Colon ES Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Salvadore.
